Unidentified Flying Object: US Plane’s Close Call Over New York

A commercial airliner narrowly avoided a collision with an unidentified aerial object near New York, the Pentagon’s latest UFO report reveals.

A report came out on Thursday that talks about 757 weird things in the sky, or UFOs as people call them. These things were spotted and reported to the U.S. government over the last year.

Terrifying Near-Miss Incident

An airline crew reported to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) that a commercial aircraft had a close encounter with a “cylindrical object” over the Atlantic Ocean near New York’s coast. The exact time of the incident and the airline involved have not been disclosed.

The Pentagon’s report talks about hundreds of new UFO sightings. A lot of these are just mistakes, like mistaking balloons or birds for something else. But some, like the one in New York, are still a mystery. Even though there are more reports, there’s no proof that aliens are involved.

The Pentagon’s UFO office, AARO, is still looking into a scary near-miss where a plane almost hit something weird near New York. Out of all the UFO sightings they’ve seen, this one is the only one that could’ve been really dangerous for the plane.

The report looked at 757 weird things in the sky, or UFOs, that were spotted around the world between May 1, 2023, and June 1, 2024. Some of these sightings were actually from earlier, but people just reported them during this time.

Investigators figured out what almost 300 of these weird things were. They turned out to be balloons, birds, drones, satellites, or regular planes. But there are still hundreds of sightings that they can’t explain because they don’t have enough information.

People who saw these things often talked about strange lights or round, ball-shaped objects. One person even said they saw something like a jellyfish with blinking lights. Most of these things were seen in the sky, and 49 of them were way up high, over 62 miles above Earth. No one saw anything underwater.

The Pentagon says a lot of people are mistaking Elon Musk’s Starlink satellites for UFOs. These satellites often fly in a line, which can look pretty strange to people who don’t know what they are.

Even though a lot of people think these UFOs are from outer space, the government says they haven’t found any proof of that yet.

To date, AARO has discovered no evidence of extraterrestrial beings, activity, or technology.”

On Wednesday, a bunch of lawmakers had a meeting to talk about UFOs. They listened to some smart people, including two ex-military folks who know a lot about these weird things.

People talked about aliens, secret government projects with alien tech, and spies from other countries using secret planes to spy on U.S. military bases.

People talked about aliens, secret government projects with alien tech, and the idea that other countries might be spying on us with super-secret planes.
