Eligibility

Educational qualification

A candidate must have cleared 10+2 with physics and mathematics. Some institutes may specifically require 50% marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics). Strong academic records may help in achieving a scholarship.

Medical fitness

Candidates must obtain Class 2 and Class 1 medical certificates in order to apply for the scholarship program.

Age Limit

A candidate must be at least 17 years old, and the upper age limit may range from 25 to 35 years, depending on the scholarship program.

Pilot training scholarship in India by Department of Social Justice & Empowerment

Under the Scheme of Post-Matric Scholarship to the students belonging to OBCs, there is a provision of scholarship for CPL course also. The number of awards for CPL is 20 per annum on a first-come, first-served basis. The Scheme provides for a scholarship of Rs.. 5000/- per flying hour in single/multiengine aircraft for 200 hours. In addition, maintenance allowance at rates applicable to the group ‘A’ course

National scholarship portal SC Category CPL course scholarship program

CPL course is covered under Group I’.  The number of awards for CPL will be 10 per annum. The selection of 10 ST students for CPL course will be made through the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). Applications for CPL course will be invited through an advertisement. Interested ST students may apply for a scholarship to select the CPL course.   Selected candidates shall be provided a maintenance allowance at rates applicable to Group ‘I’ courses, i.e., Rs. 1200/- per month for hostelers and Rs 550/-  per month for day scholars.  In addition to all compulsory fees, including flight charges, these are to be provided as a fee.
